Conceived as an icon of natural, sustainable architecture, this guadua bamboo building supports the production of panela, Colombia's traditional unrefined cane sugar, by farming cooperatives in the Arboledas region. Its roof is inspired by the wings of a condor soaring over the Andes and supported by a distinctive structure of pointed bamboo arches.
