A new waterfront for Cúcuta shaped by blue urbanism and architecture. The proposal restores the Pamplonita riverbank, respects its flood zones and uses stilt-supported architecture to adapt to rising water. The project turns toward the river, creating a continuous promenade along the riprap embankment.
At its heart is a biomuseum dedicated to memory, peace and reconciliation for victims of the armed conflict. The mixed-use development includes a neighborhood police station, semi-basement parking, restaurants and retail stands for young entrepreneurs. Pedestrian bridges connect to the Caobos neighborhood. The project aims to drive development and ecotourism competitiveness in Cúcuta and Norte de Santander, with a national and international reach.
